UT maintains contracts with many software providers to provide faculty, staff, and students access to these school, work, and academic research applications. The software is made available through various methods depending on your primary campus affiliation and role within the University.
Software is available through the following methods:
- OIT Software Distribution Website: Download and install software directly on your computer at the OIT Software Distribution website.
- Apps@UTK: Run the software as if it is installed on your computer by logging in to Apps@UTK from any Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, or Android device.
- Cloud-based Software: Some software applications are accessed directly from the vendor or web browser. Applications include ESRI ArcGIS, Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus, Adobe Creative Cloud, Akinidi, Qualtrics, and LinkedIn Learning.
- High Performance & Scientific Computing (HPSC) ISAAC Resources; ISAAC Open Enclave and ISAAC Secure Enclave resources are available for the research community.
